This is about all we're allowed to have in Arizona. Sparklers. But those are my favorite! Did the fireworks even go off on A Mountain this year? I don't think they did. We waited until 10:00pm and never heard/saw them.

Big Brothers are the Best!
Alex loves to play Curious George on the computer but he inevitably ends up pushing all the keys, thus destroying my computer. So Ethan hops on with him now and then and helps him play his George games.

Lazy Summer Days
Hot and long days call for a misting system and playtime delayed until 8 o'clock at night. These pictures were taken around 8pm. The kids are sitting in their playgym just letting the misters cool their toes off.

Ethan's Birthday
We asked Ethan if he'd rather have a big party and no presents or a family party, $50 and bowling. He chose the latter, so not many pictures here. But Grandma-Grandpa-Stevie took him shopping with all of his birthday money. Legos, movies, you name it. It's all about the Benjamins!

"Bunnies Steal Eggs from Chickens for Easter?"
Katelyn: "Rabbits lay eggs?"
Nathan: "No. Chickens lay eggs."
Katelyn: "Then where does the Easter Bunny get the eggs?"
Nathan: "He takes them from chickens."
Katelyn: "But there's candy in them."
Nathan: "That's because he takes them from the candy chickens."
I know. Torture the children on Easter. Make them look directly into the sun and smile. Alex was actually mid-sneeze while trying to say "Cheese".
That's better, Mom. Thanks.
On the hunt! (And yes, those are my beautiful flowers. They LIVED!)
Daddy and Alex trying to find a few Easter eggs before Ethan gets them all.
Some in the garden...
She was dying to wear her Easter dress. So here she is, in all her cuteness.

The Lone February Photo
This is the ONLY picture I took in February 2008. Yeah, yeah I know. Shush.
Alex playing with his best bud Evan. This is the first step toward dirt bikes and street racing.
